Replacement of the Cantonal Industrial School by four distinct schools under a single management. The commercial section officially becomes a School of Commerce.
Creation of three independent institutions: the Industrial School and the Scientific High School; the Cantonal School of Commerce, which included administration and railway management courses; and the Cantonal Technicum.
The association is founded under the name "Association of Former Administration Students and Graduates of the Lausanne School of Commerce, Administration, and Railways."
Opening of the "Commercial Baccalaureate" courses.
Jubilee of the Higher School of Commerce. The "Teachers' Conference" room featuring about fifty of them, many sporting impressive facial hair, and only three female teachers. Although female students were admitted as early as 1906, boys and girls would continue to study separately for a very long time.
The diplomas and commercial baccalaureate certificates are recognized as equivalent to the Federal VET Diploma (CFC) awarded after the final apprenticeship exam for commercial professions. Did you know? At least six different models of typewriters were used in typing classes. The hallways were even used as classrooms for microscopy.
Construction of sports facilities.
Starting this year, the regionalization of the Canton of Vaud's Higher School of Commerce begins with the creation of new schools in Northern Vaud (CESSNOV), Eastern Vaud (CESSEV), Western Vaud (CESSOUEST), and a dual school in Lausanne (CESSRIVE) and Morges (CESS de Morges).
The association is renamed the "Association of Former Administration Students and Graduates of the Canton of Vaud Higher School of Commerce."
Introduction of the Federal Economic Baccalaureate in the canton. The Lausanne Higher School of Commerce becomes the CESS de Beaulieu. Type C and D Baccalaureates make their return.
Opening of a scientific annex to the north of the building, made necessary by the requirements of the Federal Baccalaureate curricula.
125th Anniversary of the school.
CESS Beaulieu becomes the Gymnase de Beaulieu. The specific baccalaureate "types" are abolished in favor of a system of specialized options.
Opening of the "Socio-Pedagogical Baccalaureate."
Renovated and expanded sports facilities.
The association is renamed the "Association of Graduate Students of the Gymnase de Beaulieu."
